Commissioned Projects
I enjoy working with clients to help evolve a design for a project and bring it to fruition. I'm most stimulated by the unusual and challenging whether it be a backyard setting, playground, walk-through sculpture or whatever. The normal process for taking on commissioned works is that I listen to what the client is seeking; I visit the site to get the client's input, take photos and measurements; I generate a concept drawing with rough ideas on cost and timetable and receive additional client input; then I execute the concept according to whatever agreement is decided between me and the client. I price my services at $40/hr.
