In 1996, folowing my work at the Vista Grande/Mirage resort, I was asked to design and build a landscaped walkway behind a row of buildings that formed one side of another resort located in Cathedral City, CA. This was formerly an apartment complex and the owner converted some of the larger apartments into smaller resort units that had to be entered from the rear, He wanted to provide a more attractive access for guests who stayed in the rear units. The result was the "CCBC Walk" which was a heavily landscaped meandering sidewalk that went over streams, past waterfalls and through tunnels.
