The Contour Chair was a project that began in 1992 with a simple form chair I called the "BobChair". In the early 2000's, I began experimenting with the chair form to become more contoured to the human body and by 2004 it had evolved to the form shown below. In 2011 when I decided to create "The Contour Collection" I included this chair because I had created templates that would allow me to make additional chairs of similiar design. The Contour Chair is currently in the "prototype" phase where I am refining minor design and production issues. Once I have created "the perfect" chair, I will produce a limited edition series of 99, each one to be signed, numbered and dated by me.
