Stop!"Stop!" was created in 1992 during a period of time when I realized I was not going to be dying anytime soon from HIV. It was produced around the same time as "Life Over Death" which is still available. I had created a life-size realistic hand back in San Francisco during 1988 which was someday going to be a pair of hands coming out of an object gesturing "STOP !". In 1992 during a period of experimentation with painted forms I suddenly had the thought of using the single hand incorporated with a spermlike object as a way to express my thoughts and feelings at the time about stopping the HIV madness I was experiencing.
