"Hommage to @" was the second metal-clad work completed in October of 2013.  First I created a wood form built from construction grade lumber.  Then I soaked the wood form with wood preservatives to lessen the chance of decaying over time because this was intended to be an outdoor sculpture.  Finally I nailed on sheets of galvinized metal with galvanized nails letting the hammering marks create the rippled surface that you see.
