"Twisted Torso" is a pose I selected from a number of shots taken in a photo shoot in 2001.  While producing the work, I found myself sometimes emphasizing different body features and the pose of a torso twisting was emphasized more strongly in an attempt to infuse tension in the work.  It is a wall-hanging sculpture that is mounted to the wall by two screws hidden behind the work.  It is constructed from Arauco plywood which comes from sustainable forests in Chile, South America.
